The Guarded Heat Flow Meter (GHFM-22) following the ASTM E1530 standard is an easy to operate device for the measurement of the thermal conductivity of solids at room temperature.
According to this technique, the sample is subjected to a steady-state axial temperature gradient. The thermal conductivity of the sample is obtained by measuring the temperature difference across it, and one additional temperature.
The GHFM-22 is a Thermal Conductivity Meter suitable for fast and accurate benchtop measurements of Metals, Building, Insulation and many other types of materials including Thin Films.
